Some of surf lifesaving’s greatest rivalries will be reignited next year when the state’s top surf sport athletes contest the 2014  Queensland Senior State Championships across three days in March.

As the pinnacle event on Surf Life Saving Queensland’s sporting calendar each year, the Championships will see more than 2,000 lifesavers from Port Douglas right through to Rainbow Bay hit the beach to battle the surf, sand and each other in their quest for state glory.

Nominations are now open for the 2014 Queensland Surf Life Saving Championships to be held on Friday 7th to Sunday 9th March 2014 at North Kirra Surf Life Saving Club. There are two Championships listed for entry being 2014 Queensland Senior Championships and 2014 Queensland Masters Championships.
